Senior Studies
Senior studies, with Carlisle Adventist College in Mackay, is two years full of milestones. Great memories and decisions to be made about who they will be, where they will go and how they can serve. As we partner with you, your young adults will be able to blossom through a sometimes precarious passage, into all they were meant to be.

Subjects Via External Sources
In addition to the subjects that are offered at Carlisle, Senior students can also complete a subject of their choice via external sources such as:
We also recognise the importance of comradery and friendship. We have several additional extra-curricular programs for students to be part of which work hand-in-hand with our core values while also assisting our students to build resilience, enhance quality friendships and reenforce their faith.
Co-Curricular Opportunities
Co-Curricular opportunities allow students to develop themselves into well-rounded individuals. Our Senior School students are encouraged to participate in areas that enable them to build team work and leadership skills thus equipping them with feelings of self-worth and success. Co-curricular activities provide students opportunities to step outside of their comfort zones and to discover who they are. This helps them to develop areas of interest and excellence outside of the classroom they may otherwise never have known was there.
From teams to music groups, Student Representative Council and inter-house sport – Carlisle offers students the chance to join in and become involved in the Co-curricular elements of College life.
Not every student is sporty, artistic or a mathematical genius – but every child does have potential and areas of interest waiting to be discovered; this is why Carlisle consider it so important to offer a range of Co-curricular activities that cater to a diverse range of interests. These Co-curricular activities also provide an important connection between students and teachers outside of the classroom environment, fostering the development of relationships built on trust and respect, that come in shared journeying.
To this end we run activities in the following areas:
